Create your own Stick Figure Animations

You don’t need any artistic skills or Adobe Flash to create your own Stick Figure Animations. Pivot Stickfigure Animator is a cool software to let you create you own Stick Figure Animations. It’s very good animator for a beginner. You can make flash movies, and all of it is very easy to use. This software is absolutely free for download. Here are some tips on how to get started and create your own fighting stick figure animations.

First of all you need to download this freeware. Go to www.snapfiles.com. Download and install the software.

Getting started

When you open the software for the first time, it will look like this.

Getting to know the tool buttons

Play – Play your created animations.

Stop – Click to stop.

Repeat – If checked, the play will repeat.

Frame rate – Your figure play speed.

Add figure – This will add your Figure Type. To create go to File – Create Figure Type.

Delete – Delete the selected segment. To delete, choose the segment and press Delete(see image below).

Edit – Edit your current figure.

Center – Make your figure to center.

Flip – Flip your figure.

Colour – Change your figure colour.

Scale – Change your figure size.

Front – Make your figure to front.

Back – Make your figure to back.

Creating your first Stick Figure Animations

You can either create your figure using the Figure Builder or just use the default figure. For this, i will be using the default. To use the Figure Builder, go to File – Create Figure Type.

Now, every time you want to add a new frame, click the Next Frame button at the bottom. Play with it and master your figure animations. It will also show you the previous frame was. (See image below)

Whenever you want it where you want it, click Next Frame and repeat the same process.

Click the Add Figure if you want to add another figure. So play it around. You can see my figure example below how the Next Frame works.
