How to: Download and play your favorite Flash Games Right in your Desktop
After i have wrote about 4 Flash Games sites to cure your Boredom. You are sure to find your favorite games. You love playing your new Flash Games online. What if you want to play those games offline, without ever going back to the site? Don’t worry, i will show you how. This is a step-by-step guide, even a noob can do it.
How to: Download and play your favorite Flash Games Right in your Desktop
Before you can play your flash games, you need to search your games online and download them. Do not worry, save your time searching. Read here: 4 Flash Games sites to cure your Boredom
Browse and find your flash game that you want to download here. Found you game? Continue reading below on how to download your flash game to your desktop.
Downloading your favorite Flash Games
For this tutorial, i will be using http://y8.com/games/The_King_of_Fighters_Wing. You can use other flash game link.
Step 1
Go to http://y8.com/games/The_King_of_Fighters_Wing. Let the game load 100%. If not you can’t play the game offline.
Step 2
Now you need to find the source of the (.swf file) game. For Firefox, go View Tab -> Page Source or press Ctrl + U on your keyboard(see image below).

For Internet Explorer, go to View Tab -> Source(see image below).

Step 3
Now search for .swf in the source. Use Crtl+F. You find the full game source(see image below).

Copy that link and paste in your browser. Now the game will be full screen and remember, let the game load 100%. In Firefox, go File -> Save Page As… or Crtl + S. Now the game is being downloaded to your computer. Continue reading below on how to load the game offline.
Playing your favorite Flash Games
The easiest way to play your game offline is to Right click -> Open With -> Firefox or Internet Explorer. It only work sometimes. You will get this Dialog Box in your browser(see image below).

You don’t have to get that box every time you play game on your browser right? So you need a software that can run Flash games offline right in your desktop.
Step 1
Go to mystercrowley.com, download FlashOffliner and install. After you have install the software, the FlashOffliner will be in your system tray(see image below).

Step 2
Remember the .swf you downloaded? You need to convert to FOP file in order to play your game. FOP is a file extension for FlashOffliner. To convert, go to FlashOffliner in your system tray, Right click on the icon and go to FlashOffliner Menu -> Create new FlashOffliner Package (see image below).

Select your game file that you have downloaded just now and click Start Packing(see image below).

Step 3
Now you have converted .swf to FOP. It’s time for you play the game. Right click on the icon and go to FlashOffliner Menu -> Install FlashOffliner Package (see image below).

Search for the converted .swf and click Open. To play the games, go to FlashOffliner Menu -> Game Info and choose your game. Turn off your internet connection and try playing.
