Have you ever thought of downloading a song off the net but you totally can’t remember the song title? Well, I admit myself, every time i want to search for a song, I kept forgetting the title. I had to call up some friends and sing or hum to them. That was stupid sometimes.

Now, there many ways to a song search and one of it is using the song lyric. My favorite and the simplest way is Google.

Just go to Google.com and type in the lyric. I’m going to search for Jason Mraz – I’m Yours by typing the some lyrics that i could remember. The first line of the song is “well you done done me and you bet i felt it“.

well you done done me and you bet i felt it

And i found the song title, as for Google, I hope they would implement this idea one day. If you still can’t find your song title on Google, lets try other thing.

Lets try YouTube.com. The same as Google, just search your song by searching some lyrics. Lets search “well you done done me and you bet i felt it“.

Again, I’ve found my song. At YouTube.com, you can preview the video to check the songs you are searching are correct. Neat huh? If YouTube.com also don’t work for you, lets try other alternative.

Go to Lyricrat.com, same as above. To find your songs title, type some lyrics into the search box and press FIND THE SONG. I’m going to search for “well you done done me and you bet i felt it” again.

See? Found again, I can even preview the song to check if the song is correct. Very neat. If you still can’t find your song title by lyrics. Maybe it’s time for you to do some humming.

You can find songs with Midomi.com and your own voice. All you need is your computer’s microphone.

1. Click the “Singing Search” to start recording your search.
2. Sing or hum your search. For best results, keep the volume bar in the green, record 10 seconds or more of the tune, and avoid background noise.
3. Click the green arrow to see the results

Here’s a video on how midomi works

And guys, I hope these will help you a lot, IF STILL CAN”T FIND YOUR SONG TITLE. Then, I guess you will have to follow the old fashion way. Call your friends and start humming! Until then, have a nice day.
